You made a lot of good points and I had just been visiting a blog of another marketer and found this commencement speech by JK Rowling. It was very good and if you have, how long was it, 24 minutes, 1/2 hour or so, it is definitely worth listening to. It echoes some of the points you made above.

You know, you are right about all of the negativity out there…it makes a sane person want to scream! I have given up watching the news, I watch only for the weather (kind of a joke, actually) and sports. I really wish people knew just how much they were polluting their own minds and in turn, their lives by some of their negative thoughts.

And what we put into our mind or what gets there by osmosis is affecting our lives.

Thanks so much for coming by to visit my blog…it’s GREAT to ‘see you’!

You know, some days are SO difficult to even FIND the bright side, however allowing yourself to slip into a negative, depressed state is so detrimental to your health, in general. Something that always seems to ground me is taking a look around me and being grateful for what I HAVE, because it is what SO many others can only wish for. Dwelling on rotten stuff does not make anything better, in fact, it brings about more of the same!

Excellent Post! You are so right. It really is easy to drift into looking at the negative. It really does take work to keep looking on the bright side.

Love all your quotes, especially the one from Winston Churchill. To paraphrase it I would say Everyday we must strive to make the impossible… Possible.
