A Menu For A Promising Life?
Just like there are menus in restaurants where different kinds of foods are served – from appetizers, to main dishes, to desserts – life also has its menu for a happy, upbeat life. Different people have their own individual menu that makes them cheerful and optimistic. Find out what they are for you; they may help to keep your life meaningful, enjoyable, inspiring, and interesting. Consider the following:
Help the needy, the poor, the handicapped, the ailing, the homeless, the lost, or the environment. The list can go on, and on. When you help the needy – in services, monetary value, or other forms (lending a shoulder to cry on or an understanding ear to listen to other people’s problems) – the returns are tenfold. However, don’t expect anything in return. Just the contentment you experience in your heart is an incomparably satisfying feeling. Giving something wholeheartedly without expecting anything in return is what is important. Many times though, the person on the receiving end can’t wait to do their own favor when they get the opportunity to do so…paying it forward!
Another way to enjoy life is to listen to music. Play your good old favorite songs and sing along. Sing your best. Sing carelessly or out of tune – whatever it takes to make your heart content and whatever makes you laugh. Just hum the tune if you don’t remember the words. The idea is to cheer up. Do this in private, or only with your close friends or relatives though…you don’t want to annoy your neighbors.
The sound of nature is also music. The sound of river flowing, the gust of wind on a tree branch, waves on the seashore, and birds chirping are as natural as nature can be, and the way music should be. The sound of nature can make you optimistic because it is a beautiful and serene sound.
Let’s face reality. Life has its share of troubles, disasters, and misfortunes. Bad news exists and it disturbs the mind. Totally ignoring it may not always be the answer to approach life in a realistic manner. However, you can always find ways to avoid being affected by it to maintain the dominance of life’s beauty. You are the only person who can choose HOW you react to any given situation.
A party without humor and laughter is a dull one. The same is true in real life. Fill your life with lots of humor and laughter to keep it positive. The more spontaneous a humorous situation is, the more natural it is, and the better it can liven up your spirits.
Look at the lessons that can be derived from misfortunes. Mistakes allow you to learn and see opportunities hidden behind adversities. Always find meaning from every event in your life. See through life’s shell game and value every lesson that you learn!

Thanks Joann for sharing this information. I did not know about this product , but now that I do , I won’t be buying it.
It seems like someone gets an idea, has a little success and then make the real money by selling the dream that turns out to be a nightmare. These people should be known as the ‘Nightmare Sellers’
I am hoping for things to take off from Alex’s teaching; it all makes sense though I have been side-tracked and lost steam by not following through on things. The daytime job is a real killer; I can’t wait for a litle success to kick in before I take the bold step and ditch it to concentrate on internet marketing full time.
I am now following Rob Canyon, for only $97 I stand to gain far more for a little investment. This will compliment Alex’s program.
I have recently subscribed to a program for generating cash after attending a presentation in which I saw the live Clickbank accounts of this young guy making a phenomenal amount of money from his system. It all makes very good sense and I must find the time to implement this system to generate some immediate cash. I will galdly tell you more when I prove it works or else I will be posting a “stay clear” warning like you have done hear.
Kind regards
David

Hi David,
Thanks for coming to visit me today. Yes, unfortunately the majority of the stuff out there on the internet is either not the complete information, or it is just plain junk.
It sounds as though you have fallen into the same rut as I have…started off strong in the beginning, but then life gets in the way and before you know it, you are way behind. I know that just this past week, I went back and listened to Module 1 again from Alex’s class to get my focus back in line! I also joined Rob’s program and I am REALLY excited to be a part of it…he is such a good guy and I believe that he will do everything in his power to help us succeed. I think that his first webinar was excellent, he made quite a few good points that I had not heard before.
David, PLEASE keep me posted about the new system that you have found and whether it is something worth pursuing. I TRULY HOPE that you can put that JOB behind you and work as an internet marketer full time. We all deserve to live our dream and I hope that you can do so very soon!
Take care David-I wish you all the success in the world!

Joann,
That was a wonderful inspiring post, as I read through it, it reminded me that I want to take dance lessons. Which is something that I have always wanted to do but have never done. If only three were 34 hours in the day….
Also, I stopped by because I found that you are in Rob’s class, I am also. And after his first lesson, where he talked about meeting up with others. I thought that I would ask you if you wanted to chat on Skype one of these days?
If there’s ever a time when you are free, just let me know.
Take care Joann,
Karen
Joann says:
Hey Karen,
Thanks for the compliment on the post, I appreciate it very much. Isn’t that the truth…10 extra hours would be such a help, wouldn’t it? But then again, we, as human beings are never really satisfied. If we had 34 hours in a day, we would want 40 hours.
I saw that you are one of the ‘wonderful people’ who are in Rob’s class…there are quite a few that I feel as if I ‘know’ already. I would love to chat with you some time on Skype, my username is joann_henry. Now, the problem is finding a time that works for both of us. Perhaps some morning? I don’t know…just throwing it out there. Shoot me an email or send me a message on Skype…I look forward to it!
Take care, Karen-I wish you the very best!

Hi joann just thought i would pop by and see what your up to read the post before this one and I to was sucked in last month on a similar scheme by a well known IM but got my money back anyway back to this post its so so true we all add our own ingredients to the recipes of life, humour should be the salt as without it like you said the party is a dull one, ps great that so many of us are now on robs course ,and like you mentioned to karen im sure we can work out a time so we can have a good gab on skype
cheers mick
Joann says:
Hey Mick,
How nice to ‘see’ you again! Unfortunately, there are so many useless products out there, that IF you manage to find ONE that works, you’ve more than likely also found 50 products that did NOT work. I think that between Alex and Rob, we have 2 really great mentors, who will help us to achieve the success that we crave!
Yes, I truly believe that we are responsible for creating our own happiness…AND our own misery! I personally would much rather live my life as a happy go lucky person, as opposed to a miserable, ungrateful grump!
Let’s try to arrange a time to talk on Skype, okay? Shoot me an email, or IM on Skype(joann_henry) & we’ll set something up!
Mick, I wish you the very best-take care of yourself!

Hi Joann
What a great uplifting, positive post! You should write books all the time. I tell people what they need to do when they get depressed is just “give yourself a checkup from the neck up to get rid of your stinkin thinkin and prevent hardening of the attitudes.” Maybe we could get together a write a high power positive book that would fly off the book stores’ shelves.
Thanks for your great comment on my blog and I have to give credit to Zig Ziglar for the TUIT. It does work well in sales!
Skype sounds good to me, our contact is rogerdiane69 and this week and next week will work for me. After that, my time will be less because I am starting another flying job the week after that.
Until next time
Roger
Go out and make it a successful day!
Jose Perez says:
Joann, that was very nice from you to stop by my blog, thanks a lot!
And I join David, Karen and Mick in commending you for this your latest post. Although I’m a steady hummer, I have abandoned the practice of listening to music. I might want to try doing that again.
Cheers,
Jose
Joann says:
Hey Roger,
Thank you for those wonderful compliments…I truly appreciate them! You know, I know all about stinkin thinkin…ask my parents. When I was growing up, I was one of the most negative, blame anyone in your path, glass half empty people that you could have met. Somewhere along the line, I realized that by living in that world, I was bringing more of the stuff that I didn’t want TO ME! It isn’t that I don’t have problems like everyone else, but by dwelling on them, I am not changing the situation…so why bother?
I had never heard of the TUIT cards before…that is just so cool! That figures that someone like Zig Ziglar would come up with it…he knows how to sell!
I look forward to speaking with you at some point, Roger…I will send you a message & see if we can’t find some time to touch base.
Take care of yourself-I wish you all of the success that you desire!

Hi Joann,
I’m totally agree with your post! There are lot of things we can do to help others and I found by helping others we are actually helping ourselves, build a greater confidence, get new friends, etc.
Just like Karen I wish I had more than 24 hours a day so I can have more time to practice my guitar..
Now that I already gave up my job last year I have no point of return and I feel the pressure is getting bigger and bigger. I guess we all feel the urgency to make money a.s.a.p. That’s why we are on Rob’s program, aren’t we?
My best regards to all of you who commented on this blog.
-Rudi
Joann says:
Hey Rudi,
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit my blog-I appreciate it very much! You are so right about helping ourselves BY helping others…very profound!
You know, I was thinking about your wonderful comment about having more time to play your guitar…why don’t you put a couple of videos of you playing the guitar on your blog, Rudi? I’m sure that I’m not the only one who would be interested to see them!
I hope that we all will be able to relax a bit after Rob’s class. He did say that if we knew how to make $100, we could easily continue to increase it…and like I said, I’m sure that would be a welcome thing for all of us!
Mike Mott says:
Hey Joann
Thanks for the skype call.
Very nice post and great looking blog. $100 here we come!
Best wishes

Joann says:
Hi Mike,
Great talking to you yesterday-we’ll need to do it again sometime! Thanks very much for your comments-I appreciate them!
We are on our way, Mike…$100 is just the start! Then…LOOK OUT, world! I’ve got to take care of that survey, then tackle the assignment. I don’t expect it to be TOO much trouble, though!
Take care of yourself, Mike-I wish you all of the success that you desire!

Kevin Doherty says:
hi Joann, Great post.. So helpful to keep these concepts in mind, as our modern world is so equipped to distract us from what really matters. Glad I found your blog!
Kevin Doherty
Joann says:
Hello Kevin,
Thank you so much for your nice comments and for stopping by to visit! I appreciate it.
Boy, Kevin… did you ever sum it up with this “our modern world is so equipped to distract us from what really matters” Unfortunately, I do not see us becoming less distracted from outside forces in the foreseeable future…and I am NOT being pessimistic here…REALLY! I believe that things are only as bad as you perceive them to be AND how you decide to react to an unpleasant situation.
Take care, Kevin-I wish you the very best!
